Premonition of pregnancy through picture/vision/dream?

Whilst having sex, I had a 'picture' of a lotus flower opening up and a baby coming out the centre of it. I have never seen this before and learnt that lotus flower symbolizies life.

Has anyone else ever had this kind of premonition, if it is one, or similar? I don't know if I'm pregnant yet, but I can test next week.

Premonition of pregnancy through picture/vision/dream?
no but i had a dream last night that I had a bfp and everyone was congratulating me! it might not mean anything but my af is due next monday so we will see what happens.

Good Luck :)

*_*Loads of Baby Dust*_*
Reply:perhaps it's not a premonition but rather a visualisation....sometimes visualisation can assist with bodily functions....ie.....using your mind to assist achieve orgasm, etc.......

perhaps you were subconsciously willing/coaxing your reproduction organs to be receptive to a pregancy........

I wish you all the best! Down to luck now!
Reply:My first advice is to stop taking whatever substance it is that is giving you these hullucinations.

Stay safe
Reply:doesn't mean anything. i had a dream where all i did was drop my baby. I'm not pregnant, and am scared to death of babies. doesn't mean I'm going to drop my kid.

do you and your husband want kids? if not, use a condom until you do.

Help with finding an image?

I've been trying to find a particular kind of image that combines two different religious symbols. I've looked on google images, yahoo images, and lycos and can't seem to find anything even remotely resembling what I'm looking for. I can find the separate symbols easily but can't find a picture that combines them. I'm hoping some of you here might be able to offer some assistance. I'm looking for a picture that combines the Buddhist symbol of the lotus flower with the pagan symbol of the pentagram. Any help you can offer in finding a picture like this would be much appreciated. Thanks

Kali Yantra. The encompassing circle is avidya (ignorance);the eight petalled lotus is the eight-fold Prkriti consisting of earth, wter, fire, air, ether, manas (mind), buddhi (intellect) and ahamkara (egoism); the five triangles are the five jnanendriyas (jnana, knowledge; indriyas, senses), the five karmendriyas (motor organs) and the five pranas (breathing activities); and the bindu which is pure consciousness reflected in maya in the bija.

What is the process of making your own herbal cigarettes?

I have a recipe for making my own herbal cigarettes out of combining any choice of the following: marshmallow leaves, red clover flowers, rose petals, yerba santa, damiana, passion flower, jasmine, ginseng, bayberry, osha root, mullein, red willow, red sumac, lovage bark, spearmint, peppermint, wild lettuce, catnip, skullcap, fly agaric or pantherina mushrooms, blue lotus, pink lotus, motherwart, salvia divinorum, wormwood, maltodextrin. After choosing which herbs to use you are suppose to soak them in extracts of one or more of the following: kava kava, valarian, lettuce opium, skullcap, passion flower, maltodextrin, vanilla, honey, fruit juices. Then you are suppose to use leaves of lotus, cornsilk, or licorice root ( or a combo of these) for rolling them/filtering?? Anyways, they were not very specific on how to actually do all of this and I wondered if anyone knew which of these herbs go good together, how long I should soak them and dry them for, etc... Thanks!

Kingdom Hearts Lotus Forest?

Hello, in the Lotus Forest I am trying to give the yellow flower the potion to make me big again. But when I target the flower, and then use hi-potion on it, it doesn't do anything? Am I using the right potion and doing it correctly?

Kingdom Hearts Lotus Forest?
You should have some.... but if you dont, go to traverse town and buy some potions at the item shop, the one with huey duey and luey..... they cost 25 muney each...

Reply:You are using the wrong kind of potion. You should be using 'potion' instead of 'hi-potion' and yes you are doing it correctly

I finally figured out what i want for my next tattoo, but i don’t know where to put it?

It going to be a lotus flower, on a peddle with raindrops....i already have tribal symbol on my lower back

I finally figured out what i want for my next tattoo, but i don’t know where to put it?
Find an artist who is able to draw this out on you for best results. Be sure of course he/shop are clean (autoclave, bloodborne pathogens certified, etc) and check portfolios of their work! Depending on how your tribal is done you can incorporate what you currently want into what you already have and extend/modify your lower back.

Is it wrong to get a religiously symbolic tattoo if you are not parto of that religion?

I would like to get a lotus flower tattoo with the om symbol in the center. I am not a Buddhist, but I love what the symbols represent. They are very meaningful and I think it reflects a part of my own personal beliefs. Would it be wrong of me to get the tattoo because I am not a Buddhist?

Is it wrong to get a religiously symbolic tattoo if you are not parto of that religion?
My dear, tatts are forever. If you decided you don't like it later, the cost and scarring involved are a high price to pay for a decision made today.

Do you have a religion? Isn't there something within your religion that has meaning? Just curious...

Peace be with you.
Reply:It's your body, do as you wish. I don't have any tattoos, but I've always wanted a white dove carrying a rose across my back and shoulders. That seems kind of symbolic of the Holy Spirit, yet I am an atheist.
Reply:Symbols belong to different cultures and have different meanings attached. Look at the history of the swastika. Buddhism doesn't have a monopoly on the lotus flower.

If you want to get that tattoo, there's no reason why you shouldn't.
Reply:I don't see anything wrong with that. People that are not chinese get chinese words tattoos all the time. The only thing is that people might ask you what it means if they don't already know but I'm sure you won't mind explaining.
Reply:you should get tattoos that represnt your own intrest or life....you also have to remember that when you grow up that lotus flower will look like a dead wrinkly flower
Reply:To me, any tattoo is wrong.

But that is my opinion, God will be the only judge.

Peace and Blessings!
Reply:No its not wrong -- if the symbols and what they represent are meaningul to you and reflects your personal beliefs, so be it. Get it done.

Many religions are intertwined and while you can be labeled "christian, jew, muslim" you can also take other religions theories or beliefs and incorporate them into your life. no one says you can't -- except those who are scared of other beliefs.
Reply:The Bible frowns on tatooing. Since it disfiguers the body.
Reply:If it is meaningful to you is of utmost importance. Keep in mind however that tastes change over the years. When I was 16 I designed a tattoo that was very meaningful to me at the time. I never got it and now more than 15 years later I would not want the same one. I have changed too much.
Reply:Why does it matter if you are a part of their religion or not. That's like saying you can't get a tattoo of a world war II tank, because you were not in the war.
Reply:poser
Reply:No. The wrong religious tattoos are the ones where they have Jesus on one side and a symbolic tattoo of murdering on the other. They claim to be so religious yet they are killing people in the streets. It aggravates me
Reply:My personal belief, is that a tatoo...even more then they way a person dresses and acts..identifies you with that thing.

When you put a mark on your body that is permanent...you have to think about what you are doing.
Reply:No not at all, its just a tattoo and if that's how you wish to express yourself, go for it

I have a few ideas for a tattoo but i'm not sure to combine the ideas into a theme or not?

I really want to get a water themed tattoo..waves, ocean stuff kinda like that. But I want a Japanese art style tattoo as well, but I don't want a Koi fish as traditional Japanese water tattoos have. Also I like Sakura flowers and lotus blossoms. Should I find a way to incorporate that together or just keep them seperate to a water themed one and a japanese art style one?

I have a few ideas for a tattoo but i'm not sure to combine the ideas into a theme or not?
I'd go for a theme. Most artists will like the challenge, and there is enough stuff already out there to get you started. If you can find stuff with elements of what you'd like, the artist can likely take it from there.

I just brought my basic thoughts and a hideous pencil sketch to my artist, and she created my backpiece from that.
Reply:You should be able to look on the internet and find all kinds of designs that incorporate all of the things you mentioned. If you don't find one you like, you should be able to take several samples of things you do like to a good tattoo artist and get them to draw something up for you. I think the waves, koi fish, and flowers sounds like a really cool idea for a tattoo! Good luck.
Reply:There is a really famous Japanese painting of just waves, and it's really beautiful. I'm sorry I don't know the title, but it's for sale in poster stores a lot.
Reply:I have multiple tattoos...I think that you could probably combine some of those ideas into one tattoo because they go together well...go to a few different tattoo parlors and get them to draw you up some sketches...than you'll be able to choose from a few different ones before you make it permanent...most of all HAVE FUN!!

Where should I put a tattoo?

I want to get a tattoo of a lotus flower. Nothing huge, but nothing small. I already have a tattoo on my right shoulder blade. I was thinking of putting it in the middle of my back right below my neck. The thing about where I wanna get tattoo is that I am going to be losing weight. I don't want the tattoo to look stupid after I lose weight. Where should I put it???

Where should I put a tattoo?
A tattoo shouldn't change with weight loss, unless you're planning on losing like, 400+ pounds. Normally the change of a tattoo happens by the stretching of the skin, which is more than likely caused by the gaining of weight, not the losing. I would go ahead and do it, where you want it done - it's your body and you're the one that has to live with it - and not make yourself wait if you don't want to. Losing weight will not affect the shape, lines, color, shading, etc. of a tattoo. Go get it and I hope it turns out great!!!

Reply:I think you should wait until you have lost the weight to have the tattoo, this way it will give you more of an insentive to loose the weight and then you can have it were you want it without having to worry and regert it. i think the middle of your back below your neck sounds good.
Reply:don't get it until the weight is gone! or you could get it on a place that doesn't stretch or shrink. like a bony part. like your other shoulder blade?
Reply:i think you should get it done on the bottom of you back

even when you have lost weight it shouldnt change! =)
Reply:I would put it around the ankle...it is usually a steady space on the body and you would be able to show it off.
Reply:I think it would look really pretty on the front of your foot...I love it when people have tatoos there
Reply:on your arm
Reply:Do not get it is you are not even sure about the right spot for it....
Reply:My advice: don't get it until you lose the weight

1 - that way it will go where you want it

2 - it will give you extra motivation

honestly, even if you do get it somewhere else, don't let strangers on the internet influence your decision....

Lotus and watter lily question?

does anyone have any hands on expierence growing these flowers? what would be a reasonnable price to pay fort hem and where do i buy them?

Lotus and watter lily question?
i grow hardy water lilies in my pond, they are quite easy to grow . i just pop them in to a pot it with some fertilizer every year for water garden and they just thrive. not much maintaining either, just cut off dead leaves and flower to keep the water clear and the look a bit cleaner. you can leave the hardy variety in the water through winter but take the tropical lotus and lily up and in a unheated garage.

the price are depend on the variety but most are less than $20 ( smaller plants go for only $5-10) most nursery carry them so just ask, they'll show you
Reply:Many garden centers are carrying the plants already in pots, but they tend to be pretty expensive for what you get ($20 each). I found some in the spring at Wal-Mart (of all places) sold in a cardboard box for $10. Inside, the root was bare and it came with some clay powder and a plastic tray to put it into, some stones to weigh it down. It didn't look like much, but actually grew pretty well and bloomed the first year.
Reply:For hardy lilies you don't need to pay more than 10-15 dollars. They are very prolific growers and will fill a sizable pot in one season. For tropicals, you will probably need to special order those. They can cost anywhere from 20 to 60 dollars, depending on your tastes. Depending on where you live, you might have the handle them differently if you want them to over winter.

Lotus are more expensive, but the growth habit is similar. I have a chawan basu I paid about 40 dollars for that does very well. The only drawback with lotus that I have is that they only flower for a fairly short period in late spring and early summer. After that, it's just a foliage show. Maybe other types work differently.

Depending on where you live, you should be able to find lilies and lotus locally at garden centers that carry pond equipment and plants. One good source of tropical lilies is Lilypons.

I had a dream i was standing above the world and all this light was comming out of my body?

two feet on the ground and my head out in the galaxy...it was likei was dripping some white liquid all over the world and then a huge lotus flower emerged out of the earth where it dripped and opened , i wanna go back to sleep... lol

I had a dream i was standing above the world and all this light was comming out of my body?
Actually White light represents a Divine light also it's a healing light and represents the crown chakra. what you were doing in your dream is surrounding the world with a healing light. There several people that also visualize this during their meditations
Reply:Snoopy and I agree
Reply:That wasn't a dream.

I saw you standing naked on the balcony with the landscaping flood lights shining all over your body.
Reply:If you want an interpretation, it means you ate your pizza too close to bed time.

1. You probably just had to pee. Don't drink too much water before going to sleep.

2. Maybe you are subconciously exploring the birth and death cycle of the life and the universe.

Most likely the first answer.

How to write my chinese name?

went to a Buddhist School, and was given a chinese name when I attended there. But i dont remember how to write the chinese characters for it. I remember how to say and spell it in English, and what it means:

Hwei Lien- Lotus Flower...

if anyone knows what the chinese characters are for this or where i could find out, would be much appreciated.

THanks!

How to write my chinese name?
For 'Hwei', it is read as "Hui"

and... "Hui" can either be '惠', '慧', '蕙', '卉', '彗' and many more. It depends on the meaning you want to have in your name. Some 'Hui-s' are for wisdom.

'Lien'(莲) is read as "Lian" in Chinese

There is only one character '莲' which means Lotus.

The meaning of the 'Hui-s' are as follows:

惠 hui4 favor / blessing

慧 hui4 intelligent

蕙 hui4 Coumarouna odorata

卉 hui4 plants

彗 hui4 comet

I think 惠莲 or 慧莲 will be best for you.

Lastly for your name 'Lena' is it read as "Lina"?

If it is, your Chinese name will be 丽娜 for Lena.

Hope these help :)

First tattoo, I need help with colors and placement.?

I am getting my first tattoo soon. I am getting a lotus flower and a snake and possibly a water aspect weaved into it as well. I would like to get an albino ball python, yellow and white, and a red lotus flower. I will probably position it on my back somewhere.

Do these colors easily bleed, or fade? Are these good color combinations? I have a medium fair skin. Would these colors work well on my skin tone?

These symbols are important to me. The snake represents change in my life. I don't look at myself as I change once and am finalized like a butterfly, but constantly shedding my old skin for new. Always changing, never the same.

The lotus flower is a prominent symbol in the Buddhist religion which I try hard to follow. It is a beautiful flower that grows out of the mud in ponds, comes out of something dark and nothingness and still makes it through to bloom into a beautiful creation.

The water would go along with the flower as well as water being an important aspect in my life.

First tattoo, I need help with colors and placement.?
The tattoo artist will know which colors are best to use. Let him/her know what you want and see what he/she suggests.
Reply:I have a red and yellow rose on my ankle (colors blended together) and it really does depend on how much sun will be exposed to it. I've had it 9 years and you can barely make out the yellow and I've seen yellow fade on other tattoos on other people. If you do get it on your back and not exposed to sun excessively I think you'll be fine. Sounds really pretty.

Its true what they say, once you get one, you'll want more!!!! Have fun.
Reply:sounds nice! i think it may look nice between ur shoulder blades, yeah i would keep it outta the sun and if u are in the sun make sure u put loads of cream on it help protect it, also id the ink used it good quality it will look better for longer,

you could also try out a couple of place where ud like it, maybe get a stencil or print out of it n get a friend to place it in a couple of places see where looks best if ur not 100% sure :)
Reply:the lotus flower sounds pretty!

just DONT get it on ur lower back

i like wrists and ankles personally
Reply:U don't need help you've done your homework u know where you want it. U know what it all means(well planned) all u need 2 know is does the colors easily fade or bleed.I would say no....Fading depends on how oaten you're is the sun.I think your OK.
Reply:Don't get a tattoo. The human race I thought had advanced far enough where they didn't feel they needed to treat themselves as a bill board, or a need for permanent ID on their bodies, such as we do to cattle. If you must get something, get something that comes off in 2-3 weeks, I think they have those out their. Finally, when you get into your 40's plus, and your skin starts to spread if your fat, or wrinkle if your skinny, think how you will look. Trust me, you will regret getting permanent ink on your wonderful God given body.
