Where should I put a tattoo?

I want to get a tattoo of a lotus flower. Nothing huge, but nothing small. I already have a tattoo on my right shoulder blade. I was thinking of putting it in the middle of my back right below my neck. The thing about where I wanna get tattoo is that I am going to be losing weight. I don't want the tattoo to look stupid after I lose weight. Where should I put it???

A tattoo shouldn't change with weight loss, unless you're planning on losing like, 400+ pounds. Normally the change of a tattoo happens by the stretching of the skin, which is more than likely caused by the gaining of weight, not the losing. I would go ahead and do it, where you want it done - it's your body and you're the one that has to live with it - and not make yourself wait if you don't want to. Losing weight will not affect the shape, lines, color, shading, etc. of a tattoo. Go get it and I hope it turns out great!!!
Reply:LOL! We're in NY. Here are photos of the tattoos he's done on me:

Reply:Also, someone here said that back tattoos are the least painful...I am in complete disagreement. The minute he went over my spine, I was in a world of pain. But, the pain level for anyone getting tattoos is personal to only them. Good luck and happy tattooing!!! Report It

Reply:loosing weight shouldnt really matter unless its a massive amount. some other good ideas are on the foot or back of neck under your hair.
Reply:Where u want to put it, on ur back, this is (apparently) one of the places that it least hurts. As somebody suggested, make it a gift for loosing weight, do it after you lose it but. So it wont look bad (as ur worried about) i think the flowers sound really pretty!

Goodluck :))
